Burger King has used Facebook to promote their Hero Product!




The World's biggest fast-food restuarant,Mcdonalds is actually left behind Burger King comapred their customer satisfaction index source from ACSI.


And I am here would like to share with you about how this international company is using social networking services to explore the brand world widely.


In year 2009, Burger King has(US Based)has used the social netowrking platform, Fracebook to promote their Hero Product-Whopper by encourages users to remove 10 Facebook friend and the user will get a free Burger King's Whopper.


The figures showed that 233,906 friends were removed by 82,771 people in less than a week.
Do you think this gimmick successful?

What feeling will you get if you knew your friend has removed you from the Facebook jsut because to exchange with the incentive?
